Piero De Luca non ha recitato alcun ruolo nella bancarotta della Ifil, la società di consulenza immobiliare salernitana ritenuta nell’orbita dell’ex pastificio Amato e interessata anche ai lavori per la prestigiosa piazza della Libertà. Quasi nove anni dopo il fallimento, dichiarato nel 2015, e a a più di sei anni dal rinvio a giudizio disposto nel 2017 su richiesta dei pm Vincenzo Senatore e Francesco Rotondo, il tribunale di Salerno ha assolto con la formula «perché il fatto non costituisce reato» il 43enne parlamentare del Pd, nonché figlio del presidente della Regione ed ex sindaco di Salerno Vincenzo De Luca.
